Problem with Touchscreen V-3 574T

Hi all

 

I bought an aspire V-3 574T a few months ago. I dont use the touchscreen and it is switched off.

Right from the start I have had a random problem that just happens - it is random, sometimes it happens several times a day, then it wont happen for a week, then it will happen regularly for days in a row.

 

A white bubble (almost like an orb) appears on my screen just below the camera in the centre top of my screen. It seems to grab my mouse pointer so that I cant use the mouse - it doesnt function and the app or web page Im browsing will just stop running, I have to touch the screen and swipe the mouse pointer out of this area. What puzzles me is even though the touchscreen mode is off - the screen is still active when I touch it. This afternoon two of these bubbles appeared - they are breeding!, this time one in the centre of the screen whilst on the net, it froze the web page

 

 Its becoming quite annoying now as it happens quite regular, and having to shut all my work down and reboot is time consuming - is there any way I can prevent this from happening or can any one tell me why it keeps happening ?

This is a shot in the dark but can you post the snip of your Pen and Touch settings window. If you find a tick mark against "Show visual feedback....." or something similar, untick it and see whether it helps.
