I think the lcd screen or inner screen on my Chromebook 15 is cracked. What can I do to fix it?

I was using my chromebook the other day and when I went to close it, I did not notice that a piece from my jacket's tassle had gotten caught between the screen and keyboard. I went to close it and I heard a small crack. I instantly opened the chromebook back up and the screen had turned black with a crack imprint on the bottom right corner, indicating where my tassle got caught. The screen no longer works, only showing distorted colors. I did not slam the top down when closing, I had only applied a very small amount of pressure.

Is there anything I can do to fix it? Will Acer help in any way?

I would really appreciate some advice. I love Acer products. I bought this Chromebook barely a month ago.

Thank you so much in advance!

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately you are going to have to spring for a display on your own dime. Luckily they are available and should only set you $50 or so if you are comfortable with replacing it yourself. Likely to be more like $100 to get someone else to replace it for you.
