Limited Warranty for Overseas

Im about to buy an Acer Display from Amazon (USA) and ship it to my home at EU. Since displays have local limited warranty; if something goes wrong with it, Local Acer Distro in my country wont provide assist/service for products that bought from USA or any other country.

 

What i wonder is whether Acer USA would assists me if something goes wrong, even though im not locating in USA?

 

Yes im willing to pay for extra shipment costs.

I heard some brand's USA distros (like ASUS) wont assist customers if they send the products from out of USA. So in the end if you buy an ASUS/(or other brand) display and ship it to your country;

-Your local distro wont assist; since it has limited warranty

-USA distro wont assist; since you are out of USA

 

so basically your warranty is practically void.

Acer monitors do not have an international warranty, only the notebook products. If you purchase a monitor in the US and take it to your home country, you will not have a domestic warranty in the EU. You would have to contact Acer America to set up a repair, ship the monitor to the repair depot in Texas, and provide a US return address to ship it after repair, as we do not ship to locations outside North America. Hope this clarifies.
