    try a check disk

open a command prompt (if you have windows 10, press windows logo key + x and choose command prompt (admin)

    then type

    chkdsk C: /f /r /x

it will ask if you want to run check disk on next reboot, press Y and let it done.

It could be a Windows 10 Anniversary bug.  Or it could be that your computer uses the same mainboard as TC-710 that also had a freezing problem.  However, a BIOS update fixed it.

Check to see if you need a BIOS update for your XC-710.  If your computer freezes while you're trying to update BIOS, that might be bad though.  I suppose the safest thing would be to go back to factory default  installation before you update BIOS.

I remember reading about some freezing problem on the taskbar with Windows 10 Anniversary, but you might have to google or ask Microsoft about that one.

at first it seemed to work but soon the same problem reappeared.

the problem with the anniversary bug was solved the same day it occurred (several months ago)

The problem at the moment seems to be a faulty drive.

When its repaired it soon bust again.

this computer is only 4 months old, you don't expect the drive to go that soon!

    1. Backup your important personal files.

    2.  Create a USB factory default recovery drive.

    3.  Go in to your BIOS settings and enable the F12 boot menu.

    4.  Boot your USB factory default recovery drive

    5. Restore your PC to factory condition.  If it asks you if you want to repartition the drive, say "yes".

If the problem occurs when your PC is in factory condition, and you have the latest BIOS, then it may be a hardware problem.

In some cases, it may not be possible to create a USB factory recovery drive after you've upgraded to Anniversary.  So you can get your recovery media from Acer Store if you forgot to read your owners manual and create a USB factory default recovery drive when you first bought the computer.

Or you can try to reset your PC with the Alt-F10 method or other method.
