Iconia W3-810 - Revert back to 8.1 after Win 10 (past 30 day period)

I'm not very tablet savvy so it's ok to respond like I'm 3 years old.  Smiley Happy

Don't use this tablet very often, but with 8.1 (upgraded from Win8) it was easy to pick up and intuitive to use.  I booted up a few months ago and it upgraded to Win10.  Put it away a few months and started playing with it again, and I really don't like Win10 on the tablet, and yeah it seems a bit buggy not pulling up the keyboard when needed.  It is well past the 30 days that MS gives you to switch back.  Is there any way to go back to original factory build at this point?

If possible, since the factory build was Win8, will it be able to upgrade to 8.1, or will it want to jump straight to Win10?

Apologies if I overlooked a solution from my searches.

Thanks,

Jen

Have you tried to go to Acer Official Support web site to download all Windows 10 drivers and applications?

First I would use a third party tool like from Nirsoft to capture and record all Windows license keys. I suspect the BIOS key will be for Win 8 and there will be a second key for Win 10. This way you should be able to always do a clean install from an ISO without activation issues.

The most recent (October) update to the anniversary windows 10 cured a number of issues with my W3-810.
