There is a lid down/sleep mode when the "lid" is down on the tablet. So it must be a sensor /giro movement thing correct? It's in the Power settings just curious if the tablet is put face down as if docked of a cover placer over it shouldn't it go into sleep mode or what ever function you pick in the lid down option ( hibernate,sleep , shut off) as it does withthe Ipad or Andriod tablets ?? Just curious

    I do not have information on exactly what type of sensor is used in this device to tell if the "lid" is down, so I can not really comment on that. I did test the device and I can confirm that it does not go into sleep mode when put face down or when the display is covered. The only way for it to recognize the lid is down, is if it is actually in the dock. I hope this is helpful.
