    boot pressing Del key

then go to Advanced - miscellaneous

check if your HDD is listed under AHCI ports.

if not your HDD is dead.

if it's listed, go to Boot options and check if LaunchCSM is set to never

    if it's all ok

First of all try to check if ALT+F10 at boot take you to windows 8.x recovery and you can reach command prompt from there:
troubleshoot-advanced options- command prompt (if this works, go to point 4, if not point 1)

    1. boot from the recovery disc:

    2. click on Repair your computer.

    3. Click on Troubleshoot and in the Advanced options. First thing you may try is the Automatic Repair.

    4. If that does not help, then select Command Prompt. Enter the following four commands into the prompt.
    bootrec /fixmbr
    bootrec /fixboot
    bootrec /scanos
    bootrec /rebuildbcd
Once the command completes, restart the computer.

if you boot from the recovery disk, are you able to reach the language/keyboard screen?

if so, press shift+F10 to open a command prompt and then do the command i posted on my previous post.

When I boot from disk it does take me to language screen but when I do press shift + F10 nothing happens, , I really appreciate your help IronFly, it's been very frustrating, am able to do the recovery disk to one point , the bar for restoring system gets to 100 % but the updating system bar stays at 1%, and it just stays there, , again i thank you for any help from this newbie

when it stays at 1%, check if any prompt is under the main screen:

press windows logo key + d

    or

    ctrl+shift+esc

    or

    ctrl+alt+canc

ok, if you don't mind to wipe your HDD, at this point i would do it and then re-install windows using recovery discs.

    http://www.partitionwizard.com/partition-wizard-bootable-cd.html
    download the .iso file
then use a software to burn CD/DVD or USB flash drive and burn the .iso file
once done, put the CD/DVD/USB on your PC, boot from CD/USB (maybe you need to boot under Legacy/launch CSM if you have UEFI BIOS)
press F12 at boot and choose CD or USB
    at the desktop
    select your HDD
right click on your HDD icon and choose delete all partitions and click on yes and then apply
