Hello All,

My first time posting here. I do have a question regarding the AMD C-60 APU. The specs call for "Turbo Core" technology to go from 1.0GHz to 1.33GHz. My question is, how do you know if it is working? Is there other AMD software required? Does "ePower" have anything to do with this technology.

Second, I do not have "ePower Management" installed, should I use it? What does it do?

Thanks in advance.

The AO722's dual core AMD cpu only uses the 1.33 GHz speed intermittently and automatically when it reaches 100% usage at 1 GHz. ePower mgt isn't involved. Do a google search for 3rd party cpu speed or benchmark software to check it out.  Some of this cpu benchmarking software is freeware or shareware.

Thanks for the reply, as this has been a nagging mystery to me for awhile. I assumed this this is how the "turbo" feature worked, but I have no way of verifying it. I run Windows 7 on this device, and the Task Manager is not as detailed as the Windows 10 feature. I have seen the result you speak of in Windows 10 CPU monitor.

I did try some CPU speed monitors, but they only registered in the 800-1000 Mghz ranges, never over.

Thanks again for your reply, as I said this simply has been a nagging issue for a while now.
