Battery issue

I have a acer V5-552-x814 laptop, and It started getting the BSOD, It started not starting when I pressed the on button,So I removed the bottom cover ( this laptop its the way to the battery)and disconnected the battery, and it started right up.So I figured the BSOD was becuase a bad battery.and I ordered another battery.I plugged in the new battery and back to the same issue of it not starting when the battery is plugged in.So I have read of starting the computer then plugging the battery in,but the issue with that plan is the on button is on the case that you remove to get to the battery, and the power plug.so it has to be together to turn on.

So after trying other things inculding Mem 88 and win mem checks, refreshing of the connections, powercycling the computer, charging a new battery overnight, tried  Starting the laptop without battery connected and login to Windows 10 and reconnect the battery while laptop still power on the way the V5 is designed you have to remove the bottom cover to get to the battery, and the ac lug goes though the bottom case, but the on button is on the bottom case and has to be fitted to the to to turn on,I have tried starting laptop with only battery connected without AC/DC adapter connected to the laptop,But I won't start that way.tried these steps https://www.dost-tech.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=126,and updating all the drivers.the only thing I havent updated is the bios.

So my first question is how,why cant I start the computer with the battery plugged in,and how do Fix the issue?

and By the way the BSOD still happens without the battery connected.

    Hi,

So, you did not update BIOS because you cannot update it without a battery plugged in? That was the main reason? Or simply you didn't want to update it?

There can be a workaround to update the BIOS without battery and see if it will work.

    http://community.acer.com/t5/V-and-VN-Series-Laptops/Cannot-update-bios-on-V5-552G-X852-as-battery-is-a-0/td-p/451318

Stupid question: Did you try to boot the notebook with a live ubuntu USB/DVD? To see if ubuntu would be able to boot without the battery? This would tell you if the issue would be software related to windows, and not hardware related.

Also, try to go in device manager and uninstall the microsoft AC adapter and microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery drivers. If you don't see them go to view--->Show hidden devices. Then try to restart to see if reinstalling these drivers will solve the issue. You should provide the error message, like what .sys file is causing it.

I can boot with just the ac, but not with the battery plugged into the MB.

I haven't updated the bios becuase Im afraid of the BSOD happening during the bios update, and Fing up my computer. I just tried updating my bios, using link you posted and get a pop up saying insert system battery.
