Acer Z630S GPS issue

my Acer Z630S seems to have navigation issues, firstly it takes quite some time to connect to the GPS.

 

after starting the GPS and covering certain distance the signal is lost and the pointer keeps rotating in all directions leading us to wrong destination.

 

anyone else facing similar issue ?

 

kindly suggest if there is some fix.

thanks for your revert, I had already selected mode as "high accuracy", post that I had raised my concerns, I even contacted customer care support who insisted on formatting the phone and then check, however I am not interested in resetting the phone as there is lot of personal data, and reinstalling apps take lot of precious time. 

 

am waiting for Marshmallow update in India, post that if the problem still persist will then give the phone to service center as my phone is recently purchased and very much in warranty,

 

lets hope for the best that the marshmallow update resolve the issue.

Yes, I am also having same GPS issues with this phone here in Canada. I've always had iPhones, and never experienced these issues before. The phone takes a couple minutes to get a GPS fix, and enroute it will lose the fix and and give voice directions that are totally wrong!???

Using Acer NavKit? With Android 5.1 i this it has some problem but now with 6.0 it's working normally!

Hi guys...I gave my phone for repairs, Acer replaced PCB chip and now the GPS issue is resolved
