My laptop came with win 8.1 Single Language and i upgraded to Win 10 aniversary. Now i cant go back to 8.1 because the win 10 deleted the Windows old folder. My star menu and search box are not working, i cant reset the laptopo because theres always a message about a problem. I tried to reset keeping the files and nothing, i tried reset erasing everithing and nothing. I downloaded a mediatool from microsoft and created a usb for 8.1 single language, but i dont have a product key. 

 

and i cant use acer manager because acer told me to use the search box, wich is not working...

also tried everything about fix the start menu and search box, and nothing. i cant create a new user also.

Hello,

 

1. Have you tried with [Alt]+[F10] in startup (Acer logo)?
2. Did you create your factory recovery media?

alt f10 didnt work either. and i didnt create the recovery media. i manage to download a tool to make a clean install of windows 10, and it worked. so far its working.
