Acer Iconia W700 recovery USB key not working (OS issue)

Hello,

Last week, my Iconia W7 crashed and then it wouldn't boot anymore to the OS. The computer gave me the error "no boot device found".

I contacted Acer and a technician said I could try to reinstall windows 8 with a Acer recovery USB.

Today, I receive the usb key. I try to boot the recovery and after several minutes I get this message : "M:\NAPP.dat is miss.". At that point, I only have the option to repeat the process to partition my drive which gave me the same message. I don't understand what I need to do.

Is napp.dat missing on the usb key ? Can I download it somewhere on the Internet ? Was the problem the SSD drive of my tablet ?

Thanks for your help.

it's better if you contact Acer support service againa, maybe you received a faulty USB flash drive or your tablet has a worst issue.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
