Same problem as others with my E5-575G-53VG. It worked for first couple of weeks then nothing and F9 helps not at all. I am depending on this laptop for work and not sure about being able to send it anywhere can someome help please.

If it is the backlight is out, it is either unplugged at the motherboard or on the back of the panel, seprated where the cable goes through the hinge or it's the panel. All these require disassembling the laptop.
Have you shined a flashlight into the panel and can see a pic on the display?
