XB240H Vertical line issue

I have just purchased the model in question, I was under the impression it was a GSYNC monitor on purchasing but that does not appear to be the case which is not a deal breaker for me. However I noticed in a game i have a vertical line just to the right of centre which is quite faint, but visible on the desktop as well but it is dependant on images on screens to the visiblity.

It is connected to my GTX 970 via the displayport cable which came new out of the box with the monitor, and i have now switched to the new DVI cable also in the box as well and the line is still present.

As this is a 3D monitor I am not sure if this is possibly related but I would still not expect the line be be present, I also notice as soon as I go into a game the refresh rate drops to 60Hz and not sure if this is related. I am also finding when exiting games in my second monitor I have a browser window open and I exit a game or alt+tab out, then the browser half goes off screen as well.

I have only just bough the monitor a couple of days ago and was happy until I noticed this visible line which seems a monitor fault, and I guess if so would need to be returned to the place of purchase?

If you're tried different cables, and it's always there, it is likely a defect in the monitor unfortunately. I would suggest contacting your Acer support team so they can help get that addressed for you.
