Okay, so basically my WLAN shut off and not absolutely refuses to start up again, or be so much as recognized by the system. Launch Manager, which has been a help before, also carries an issue where it no longer loads Bluetooth/WLAN on/off switch at Fn+F3. I've tried just about everything humanly possible, but I cannot get the WLAN to function again.
I've tried deleting and reinstalling drivers, no success. Clean Windows install and a BIOS upgrade/reset to defaults also did not help. Launch Manager and Broadcom's WLAN utility, while running in background, refuse to show any kind of interface I could interact with. Every other hotkey works with Launch Manager, with the usual visible icons as well, except for WLAN. After installing the Broadcom driver, it DOES recognize the WiFi, but lists it as an Ethernet connection. IPCONFIG also states that it's an Ethernet connection and it's disconnected. Also tried the Disable/Enable trick in network settings and messing with MSCONFIG.
At this point, I honestly have no idea where to go from here. Any and all advice would be great. I suspect that the WiFi is either broken or has been perma-shutdown by Launch Manager, which would explain why it refuses to respond.
