    Hello,

There is a good chance this issue may be power related.

The GTX 950 is a higher end graphics card that requires extra external power from the PSU. The original included power supplies from Acer are enough to properly run the system as it comes from the factory, but may not meet the power requirements of the extra GPU.

I see that the requirements list 350w or greater for this card from multiple sources. I suggest going a little over that as to leave some headroom so your new power supply will last longer. I recommend going with a name brand 450-500W power supply. A good PSU will feel solid and heavy, if it feels hollow, return it or have a fire extinguisher handy. (This is why I suggest picking one up from a major name brand, I learned the hard way) Off the top of my head, there are Corsair, Rosewill, EVGA, NZXT, and a few others. Another thing to look for is an 80 Plus certification. The better the certification, the better the efficiency of the power supply, which saves money on the electric bill. If you're on a budget, Bronze works fine, if you can get a good deal go for Gold.

    Hope this information helps!

I found some posts on the internet that were saying the power supply can be the problem so you confirmed their words, mine has 300w so you think it's probably that? I'm not saying if you guarantee me cuz that's not possible but can you say how much % can this problem be cuz of the power? Just because I have to work a lot to buy a new piece so I wanna be sure I'm buying the right thing hahahahah

I think you need to ask a geek friend to help you so you don't burn your house down or mess up your computer. Smiley Happy

Have your geek friend help you install a new power supply.  Examples below.

And have your geek friend read the post below.  Proceed at your own risk as I don't have time to help you if something goes wrong.

I see that cost is a concern for you, so the first thing I would try is to disable the quiet boot feature as described in the post that JordanB shared. This looks promising.

From what you describe though, your current power supply is either not enough to run the card, or it will be maxed out (which could potentially be dangerous down the line) I still would recommend changing out that PSU when possible. It's a process, but if you take your time, or get someone with prior experience to help you, it's pretty straightforward.

JordanB also hooked you up with some links to some power supplies. I'll provide a couple as well so you have a larger selection to choose from. The prices I'm adding are what they are currently listed for as of this writing.

You're welcome! It's not too daunting of a task if you just take your time and work step by step, don't worry.

Something else to remember, always ground yourself before you work on the inside of your computer (touch a few solid metal objects) to discharge any static electricity. Even a small shock in the wrong place could fry the motherboard or other sensitive components.

    Good luck!

Also, please note that your existing power supply is standard ATX (dimensions).  Many modular and semi-modular power supplies are not standard ATX.  Some Acer computer models have a metal lip that will prevent you from installing a slightly larger modular or semi modular power supply.

The standard ATX dimensions are circled in red below......
