one of the pics is a medium grey color wallpaper to show you guys,

i have it connected through hdmi as i currently have no gpu, so it's running 30hz, i have not tried dp cable yet.

So my magnifacture date is FEB 16

No dead Pixels, No BLB but it appears the right side is showing some yellow, then sometimes it appears the bottom half showing slight yellow. very hard to explain, and tried to take pics, but the pictures exaggerated by a lot, but it only appears when on white, the rest is fine, I have the 3 year warranty, my questions are. is that enough to RMA it? I talked to acer and they even sent me a overnight shipping label to RMA, but I have never RMA'd a monitor, do you think they can even fix this sort of issue? I am trying to see if I can live with this. 2nd question is, how is Acer's RMA department? will they send the monitor back worst then it was? no dead pixels and no blb is really good for me, but the yellow is putting me off a little, in regular color use, I don't even see it, but in white web pages, I do. I asked my friend and he said he did not see anything,

Also, since I bought it off someone on ebay, he is nice enough to send me the receipt so I can show acer. Is the warranty guaranteed to be in effect for 3 years? if so I might wait a while and see if I get used to it. hmmm really indecisive right now lol

Not sure what do you expect - you won't be getting a "sheet-of-paper-like" perfect uniformity with any monitor of such size. Generally as more screen increases in size, more difficult it becomes to lit with perfect uniformity (for edge-lit displays at the least).

Here is mine for comparison, and I consider this to be perfectly normal.

Ultimately its up to you - if you are unhappy with it, return it (at least if your ebay seller allowed it). Just don't expect too much on getting something significantly better (only slightly maybe).

Also you should consider yourself very lucky already getting screen without any dead pixels (very lucky for 4K) and backlight bleed - and its very likely you won't be so lucky next time. So you should consider what is more important to you.

If you RMA, two things can happen:

    - Acer won't consider this a defect (since uniformity is within tolerance, which is actually not that tight) and will send it back without doing anything

    - Acer will replace it, but you get screen with bleed and/or/dead pixels. And Acer dead pixel policy is also very lax so don't count on replacing it - you will be definitely stuck with it for good.
