    Try this:

Navigate to the control panel and open the Device Manager. Open the Network adapters section, right-click your wifi adapter and choose Properties. Navigate to the Power Management tab, uncheck allow the computer to turn off this device and set it to allow this device to wake the computer and then save the changes you made.

If I "uncheck allow the computer to turn off this device" the second choice  "allow this device to wake the computer" was grayed out. I could could check both, but could not just set it to allow this device to wake the computer.

Also was a third choice Only allow a majic packet to wake the computer.

Warning: If this is a laptop computer and you run it using battery power, allowing the network adapter to wake up the computercould drain the battery more quickly.  It might also cause the laptop to become very hot if it wakes up while in a packed case.

I assume if the computer has be Shut Off it can not power up in the method above.

    Thanks for your help
