Acer Recovery disk problems(apsire V3-571G-9686)

Hey I have been having serious problems since purchasing this laptop - definitely a nightmare scenario, all because of Windows 8 (surprise, surprise).

Specifcally after bricking my laptop a few weeks ago due to an attempted SSD install, I ordered a set of disks from acer to get my computer working again.

Now that I finally have the disks I am coming across yet again another problem seen unsolved here:

community.acer.com/t5/Acer-Notebooks-Netbooks/how-do-you-run-the-recovery-process/td-p/6287

"When it finally comes up it says "Please boot from this disk using the Legacy BIOS."  So I switch to the legacy BIOS.  Then, when it comes up it says "Please boot from this disk using the UEFI BIOS."  And round and round we go.  Anyone have any experience with doing a recovery?"

The tech in the thread asked these questions:

"I need a few pieces of information to forward this issue:

Part number of the system you have

Part numbers of each of the discs you received"

System number: [edited for privacy]

Part numbers are :  System disk: FD.NJ7A0.05Q

Recovery disk 1-3: FD.NJ7A0.05T

Language disk FM.XENXP.112

I hope to get this solved so I can finally use my laptop!

Is the hard drive you are trying to install to partitioned? If not, I recommend you partition it where the first active partition is large enough to hold the operating system you are trying to install. This should allow the recovery software to work and will not keep asking you to switch between legacy and UEFI mode.
