I cannot delete photos from the gallery

in 2016 Archives

I am having trouble deleting photos from the gallery.  I tap on the photo and cannot find anything that relates to deleting it.  I get EDIT, but there is no deletion.  Thanks

    It might depend on the tablet model/OS you have, but normally a long click on the thumbnail of the image gives you a checkmark on the thumbnail and a trashcan icon at the top of the app. Give that a try and see if it works for you. If not, when I am viewing a picture if I click on the picture I get (for a short while) a few icons that include another trashcan.
