    mjeast13,

Your computer model is on the Acer list that says it's compatible with Windows 10 Anniversary.

Assuming the list is accurate, then I would only guess that you've got some software causing a problem on your computer or you need to load your BIOS defaults if you've tinkered/tampered with them.

There's other ways to update to Windows 10 Anniversary.  But proceed at your own risk, because I really don't know what the problem is.   Maybe someone else will know.

Edit:  The only suggestion that I would really have is to load your BIOS defaults (F9) and then save/exit (F10)....and then backup your important personal files and reset your PC.......but that's never a real popular suggestion around here.  Smiley Wink  If you've never messed with your BIOS settings in the past, then it would probably be best to just leave them alone.

Edit2:  I guess you could contact Microsoft and see what they have to say.

Edit3:  You could also check to see if you need a BIOS update

Something else that I thought of.......

If your computer is in legacy mode, you might have to re-install Windows in EFI mode.  That's just a wild guess on my part.  That would be an option of very last resort.

Or if your computer came pre-installed with Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, it might not be compatible.

Because technically it does say "Windows 10 models"
