Alt + F10 should recover the system, and when it is finished, it should automatically boot you to Windows to complete the setup? You can find instructions in our article How do I restore my computer using the eRecovery Management program outside of Windows?

If you are unable to recovery, you may try ordering recovery disks from http://store.acer.com, click on eRecovery.

Hi It looks as if this is a comon problem. All Acer want to do is sell the system disks for £51.09 and not resolve the problem. I have 2 sets of restore disks one created in January 2010 and a set created last week both identical both do not create a bootable system. I have given Acer every chance to try and resolve this problem but they don't want to know so I am about to take them to small claims court as I can now prove the system was corrupt when purchased.
