USB 3.0 power-off charging port Stopped Working? G9-591

So, I recently bought a Predator 15. And this morning when I went to charge my phone via the USB 3.0 port with power-off charging, I noticed that not only did it not start charging, but my computer didnt even recognize the device. It doesnt matter if the Laptop is on or not, nothing happens. I've deduced that its definitely a problem with the port itself, because my devices work in the other ports.

Looking through forums and messages I cant seem to find a solution for the problem. So I'll diagnose it as best I can:-

All other ports on the machine are fine, and I can plug the same devices in and they're recognized. It is only this USB port, that doesnt recognize devices. I'm not sure if the port itself is disabled but I can't see any location that might allow me to re-enable it; such as Bios, Power Saving Settings, Device power-down options or USB Selective Suspend. In fact, I'm not even sure the USB 3.0 port appears in the Device Manager at all. This is because I'm not sure how to determine which port is which. Currently I have the following under USB controllers:

Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller

Realtek USB 3.0 Card Reader

USB Composite Device

USB Composite Device

USB Root Hub (xHCI)

All USB ports are up to date and the computer doesnt recognize any hardware adjustments.

I've tried uninstalling all the USB Controllers, but restarting results in the devices unchanged from above and theres still no activity from the port.

Under Connected Devices, my phone (plugged into a different USB port) is recommended that it can perform faster if I plug it into the USB3.0. But when I do so - nothing happens.

It's entirely possible that there is an option that I'm completely overlooking. But obviously, as this is a new laptop, I'd quite like it to be working efficiently. Any suggestions or advice to help me fix this problem, would be greatly appreciated.

I think there's no use to look for driver errors here, because it does not work in powered off mode as well.

It really looks like a faulty port for me. You should aks Acer for RMA procedure.

As your device works in all other ports and no ohter device is working in this port.

I also discovered some behaviour like not every device is discoverd in every port.

But if you already tested all combinations so it should be quite clear?

I did best experience using the USB 3.1 Port wiht 4x USB 3.0 Hub and one 4x USB 3.0 Hub in it Smiley Happy. All my devices ( 3x hdd, tv-stick, mouse, gamepad, usb receiver of headset are working full speed and fine there Smiley Happy .
