Screen flashes while typing

We have an Acer ES1 laptop where the screen flashes on every single keystroke you make on the keyboard. Doesn't matter what application, every single key you press the screen flashes. White flips to black and black flips to white on pretty much all app's.
We've updated display drivers, installed all updates that are available through ACER. Uninstalled a bunch of things that were included with the laptop. Tried disabling various things in the settings to see if they were affecting it.
Nothing has worked and I'm not sure what else to try. Anything else people can think of?
