Dolby Turning Off & Black Screen after sleep (Predator 15 - G9-591)

Hi All.  In the last week or so my "Dolby Audio" keeps turning off constantly.  In the taskbar where the Dolby Audio icon is, i turn it on, choose Music or whatever setting.  I play a youtube video or something similar, it works but when i try something again it automatically turns off again & the volume is really soft & low.  I have to manually click on the Dolby Audio app constantly to turn it back on?  Does anyoen else have a problem with this?  I just updated Windows 10 to the Anniversary update so not sure if that has anything to do it with it.

Problem no.2 which is a little more annoyiong and maybe serious is just before, i was away from my laptop for about 20 mins, so i presume it went to sleep as it was off power and only on battery and when i came back to try and wake the laptop, the screen stayed black.  I was unable to wake it up with anything; no mouse or keys would work, all the backlights were on but the screen was totally black and unresponsive to anything.  I had to hold down the power button for 5 or so seconds to do a hard reboot.  I really don't want to have to do this and i'm sure this isn't a good way to power off the laptop.

Can someone please advice or help me as to what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance & sorry for the trouble.

maybe there's the same reason for both problems. To solve your probelm I would suggest some other drivers.

As the driver section is not really up to date (last time I was taking a look), you should try some of the manufatures drivers like Nvidia, Intel 530, Killer Network ( I personally use version.

KillerSuite_1.1.57.1686_Win7_Win81_Win10.exe, which is more stable). For Audio can take the most current one From Acer which is only found und 592 model). This has not any more this Dolby bug. And it also might cause to prevent it waking up.

I use the most current from Realtek I found, which was the first one which also handles the 4 speakers correcly.

So you might start with changing the audio driver (updating by starting the new driver.exe starts the uninstall of old driver) and keep the other drivers if successful.
