dolby digital plus not working

my dolby digital plus stopped working...keeps saying could not start cause of driver and to reset computer to fix issue. restarted computer but still get same error message. what can i do to fix this. my comp is acer all in one zc-606

    Hello unhappy55,

     

    Try reinstalling the Audio driver for your unit from the Drivers and Manuals page.

    Could you post a screenshot of the error message that is popping up?

    i would uninstall audio driver from Programs and Features, reboot and then re-install using the downloaded driver.

     

    keep in mind, that (if you use) AVG had some issues in the past, deleting audio/dolby drivers as virus (false positive).
