Question about Acer Predator 15-N15P3

So, I was just playing some ARK survival evolved. Laptop was fine, not overheating, not woking too hard. The voltage, however, had been fluctuating somewhat for the last few days, and I don't think I have a very good Surge protector. So, suddenly, the laptop turns off. I tried connecting the charger, but the charger light didn't light up. Tried turning it on, and it did, but the screen never turned on, the HDD light never started flickering. Now, I tried holding the power button down, but the Laptop didn't turn off either. I'm using it now, it started working normally after a full discharge, but I just want to know what happened, what caused it, and how to prevent it from happening again. Cause I don't wanna blow the internals on this thing. Theories?

It looks like an over voltage surge protection issue, keep using your laptop, let me know if it happens again..

also if you get any blue screen, freezing, crashes, inform us, if nothing happens at all, then consider it a one time thing, because it happened to me once, before i updated all my drivers, couple of months ago...
