This has been goiung on for nearly a year now and quite frankly getting silly.
I bought an Aspire Switch 11 in April 2015 and after 2 months it wouldn't boot up. I contacted Acer customer services and they asked me to send it all back for diagnostics/ repair.
To keep it short, 6 months later they returned just the laptop (without the box, charger etc). I escalated the case and they have agreed to the following:
Compensation for the box (happy with that).
Replace all the literature (apparently in the post for the past week).
Extend the warranty by 6 months (so 4 months from now).
Replace the charger.
On Tuesday the laptop came through the post (good start) but on trying to power it on there is nothing- the battery is completly dead and there is no charger in the packaging. So I emailed the person in the escalations team who is dealing with it and he has just replied saying that there aren't any of the correct charges in stock and it is unknown when they will be.
I have since asked how I can escalate the matter further and he says that it isn't possible, and that he is the highest I can take it and he is dealing with it. But what is a point of a laptop ith 4 months warranty, without any battery life and no charger?
I would like to know how I can take this further.
Thanks for taking the time to read through my experience and for any advice.
Regards,
Glyn
