Old Acer B223W (or is it G185H) monitor. Switched to Windows 10; screen display horrible

I have an old ACER B223W (or G185H?) monitor. Switched to Windows 10, and the display results are terrible. Everything is stretched horizontally, and I cannot figure out how to fix this, after looking at display and monitor settings. Did a device driver check and that appears to be ok. (Have an old Dell Optiplex GX620 desktop if that makes any difference.) Any help or suggestions?  I googled the problem, and results indicate many people have experienced the same thing. Wondering if I can have someone re-install my old Windows 7, and I will avoid Windows 10 like the plague.

    Hi RSR

It sounds like the graphics driver isn't installed or is not compatible with Windows 10.

The age of your Dell is likely to be the reason. I'd revert back to Windows 7, or perhaps you could try to locate a compatible graphics card that will fit in your PC, and that is compatible with Windows 10.
