To whom it may concern,

I desperately need the stock firmware for my liquid Z630S.....the phone was released almost a year ago.......new phones are releasing which is more advance, better features, bigger ROM and RAM and better customer care support, so wen will  be the stock firmware for this unit be released. This unit is very ordinary, no unique feature that will make it stand out wth other android phones in the market.

That is why advance user like me needs to do simple tweaking on this phone just par with  other  competitors, but before i do that i need the stock firmware jusnin case i accidentallly brick the unit.

thank you  very much for yor help

Not to open a new topic requesting the same thing, I would like to post my thoughts here.

I have recently purchased an ACER Z630S (T04) Dual SIM (in Czech Republic) which was marvelous while running Stock Lollipop (5.1) - I was running the Stock ROM for a week and you could see the effort the engineers put into adapting the interface for this device. It was great.
After a week I finally decided to update the system, for which I was being nagged daily by the pop-up notification. It was around 700MB iirc, and the Android version remained at 5.1 after the update. Great.
Immediately after I applied the update, there was another update ready - this time 1,3GB in size, which I applied.

Now the phone is running Marshmallow (6.0) and I dislike it immensely. Some apps are not running, my favourite widget is not present, some Acer software is gone or incompatible, some float apps are gone (I was using those), the top right menu is not configurable anymore and it extends all the way down so the last two buttons overlap with the back,home,task_list buttons, etc.
    It's all just awful.

I want to restore to the state I had it in once I purchased it. After researching this I would need a ROM called:

    Acer_AV0L0_T04_1.???.??_EMEA_GEN1.zip

As long as it is Lollipop I would be satisified with any version. I would then update to the latest level of Android 5.1 and prevent further updates.

From the responses received in other threads it seems that Acer does not release the ROM freely - and I kind of understand why.

But my request would be to restore it to the previous state, which I believe I should be able to do with the support from the manufacturer of the device.

    Cheers
