Hello

I bought a Acer Aspire e11 es1-111 c4wf laptop.

I installed 64bit Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. After that i installed avrdude using "sudo apt-get install avrdude" command.

If i use avrdude command with options as "avrdude -p m8 -c usbasp" it just freezes. Nothing works after that not even touchpad or mouse i need to long press the power button to restart.

But if i use "avrdude -p m8 -c avrisp" it doesn't freezes just throws the output.

installed proper setup for usbasp just like i did in other pc and desktop, which worked like a charm.

I have downgraded to 64bit Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Even after downgrade i'm facing the same issue.

I'm using the same avrdude software for years in other desktop and laptop and had no issues. The main reason i bought this laptop is to use this software. It doesn't work at all with that command.

But it works fine with Arduino though as a root. But no luck with avrdude in any user mode.

Not only this i have few other like pc freezes if i suspend.

Shutdown and reboot doesn't work as everything halts but screen stay in ubuntu logo or screen blanks but it doesn't shutdown process led wont turn off.

Some one who is expert please help me....
