S7 391-9413 touch screen cable

the stress relief around the right hinge failed, leaving me without a touch screen, and I am debating whether it's possible for me to pull the cable out of the hinge to fix up the three cut wires. Can anyone tell me if that's possible by removing the screen from its assembly? it's a lot of work to pull that apart, only to find out that it won't help.

The manual doesn't show any directions on disassembling the screen and shows it as an assembly to replace.

It also doesn't show the cable as an orderable part.

The panel is available so, it's replacable.

If there are no screws or screw hole plugs in the bezel, it probably pops off.

I don't know what a solder joint would do to a signal wire.
