Acer Switch 10 won't power On

Hi guys,

I own an Acer Aspire Switch 10 SW5-012-10JS and I upgraded it to Windows 10 a while back and just sort of set it aside. A couple of months later, I came to find that it will no longer power on. I've looked through the forums and elsewhere on the internet to no avail however. While my Switch 10's symptoms are similar to many others, none of their solutions will work for me...

So far I've done all the following:

- Charge over night

- Hold down the power button for various intervals, from 6 seconds to 120 seconds

- Hold down the power button + volume down for varoius intervals

- Hold down the power button + volume up for various intervals

- Hold down the power button + both volume buttons for various intervals

When plugging the device in, the indicator lights up to its usual blue. But when pressing the aforementioned combinations, there are no changes to the device's power indicator. It remains unlit no matter what (no orange).

If anyone has any insight on what the issue is and how to solve it, please feel free to help out myself and perhaps many others! The device is no longer under warranty and i'd hate to pay for repairs =(

Sorry, but it seems like you have tried most all troubleshooting we would suggest. We would suggest contacting technical support in your region to inquire about repair for your system.

Same problem today... Trying to power up at least 10 times but nothing, not even a flicker. An hour later, I tried something I read in the forum - press POWER + VOL.UP for 10+ seconds and the Acer logo appeared.  For several minutes nothing happened, so I pressed POWER until it went off.  Then pressed POWER again and it booted normal as you please.   Hope this is not the beginning of something because my warranty ends in 2 weeks (or course).
