What can I do if I accidentally uninstall AMD Catalyst Control Center off my laptop?

Hello!

I made a grave mistake of deleting AMD Catalyst Control Center off of my Laptop Computer. I thought it was just one of those random programs that install with other downloads. As I'm cleaning up my laptop trying to make it faster, I delete it. Neither the laptop or computer knew where it had come from.

After deleting, needless to say everything went wrong with my laptop. I tried going onto the site to reinstall it, but it's asking for a payment. I don't feel it is right for me to literally pay for something I already had. If there is anything that can be done, please let me know. It's bad enough I've been talking about wanting to get a new laptop, but now I may have no choice in the matter, which is really hard to do when you're a university student.

You say "the site", but neither Acer nor AMD charge for this software.
