Acer predator G6-710 intermittent PSU issue

Hi Acer Tech Team,

 

I bought the G6-710 just 3 days ago and I am encountering intermittent power issue. 

 

1. The system cannot be power on. (Intermittent) 

2. Even when I managed to power it on after trying for more than 6 times, the machine will reboot unexpectedly. When I looked at the event viewer, this is what I saw. 

 

Error: Critical 

Source: Kernel Power

Details: The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

 

A high-end system like this should not be this bad. Feeling angry and frustrated !

Very sorry you are having problems. Can you describe exactly what you mean when you say it will intermittently not power on? Are you physically pressing the power key multiple times before the system will recognize the power press and come on? 

 

Have you added any software or hardware?

 

I am  curious if you completely restore the system if the problem will go away? If it doesn't my suspicion is a hardware problem, and we would need to inspect the system to see what is causing the issue.
