There's many different posts about SSD's but theyre confusing. I just want to know the answer to some simple questions.

Will this SSD - here - work with my Acer Predator 15 G9-591-70VM? Will i have to take out my current 128gb SSD which is an M.2 to add this one? My OS is running on the SSD.

Also do the laptops have two M.2 slots or just one? what type of M.2. Slot?

Thanks

The SSD you linked to is a 3.5" SATA III style drive, so it would replace the 1TB hdd in the laptop, not the 128GB SSD.

That means you will have the original 128GB M.2 SSD and the new 500GB SATA Samsung EVO SSD in the machine.

    Your machine can accomodate 1x 3.5" SATA SSD/HDD and 2x M.2 SSD's (1x 80mm + 1x 110mm length). The builtin 128GB SSD will be an 80mm version.

Edited to say:  The 80mm slot is a B+M key, the 110mm slot is a B key only.

    P.S: Good luck finding a 110mm SSD.

    I have a similar question...

But looking at your problem, if you buy that SSD you linked. You are going to replace your bigger SSD not the M.2 128 gigs which includes the Main OS. Look for an M.2 SSD.
