power up problems

Laptop will not turn on and I was told to take out the battery and not to purcashed a new one, not sure what to do?

Hello,

 

1. What model do you own exactly?

2. Could you give me the first ten characters of the computer serial number (S/N)? Only the first ten.

3. Do you see the light indicators (leds) when you press the power button?
   Could you expand your issue?

serial # NXM!HAA006, I called this guy and told him what it was and wasn't doing...he told to to take the battery out and power it on with the adapter and It came on while I was talking to him and he said for me to do what I needed to do and that I should go and buy me another laptop. I also sought advice from someone who actually builds computrers and was told to purchase a battery for it....not sure if I buy the battery will it come back on.

If the battery powers on and works, then it's a probably broken software/design flaw, contact Acer support for help/repairs. Should be free if it's on warranty.
