Aspire Switch 10 - SSD "no bootable device/upgrade process suspended"

This happened out of the blue, no previous issues. OS is Windows 10. Apologies in advance if I haven't supplied enough details. Attached are any solutions I found and tried, along with photos (no screenshots so slightly blurry).

The laptop has not been damaged. After updating the BIOS to the latest version found on the support website, the laptop restarted and now briefly goes to the Acer logo, before showing the following sequence of screens:

"The upgrade process has been suspended because the battery charge is too low. Please plug in a power source; the process will continue when the charge is more than 25%"

"Boot option menu" (empty)

The next step would be to check the BIOS right? Here are the screens of that.

Following this thread, I have checked for eMMC SD references and I think this is present (serial numbers etc still being read?)

I don't think this covers my model, but I have tried this on different stages of the process. I have even drained the battery, tried while charging, and tried again when the battery would definitely have been at near-full capacity.

Following this thread, I tried switching the different UEFI/Secure boot modes. Nothing.

Some threads talk about making a cd for recovery. Is this perhaps possible with a USB? What about 'flashing the BIOS'? Just thinking what else I can do.

Is my drive dead? Am I missing something obvious? Should I go to a repair shop and have them crack it open, see if there's a loose connection? Or should I just call in my warranty and get a replacement :/

First thing i noticed is the missing Windows Boot manager from the bootable list, this means that windows 10 EFI partition is missing or corrupted.

you can try 2  things to recover:

    1) press Alt+F10 at boot and check if you are able to enter Windows recovery and repair your device

    2) enable F12 boot menu from BIOS, so you will be able to boot from an USB bootable media.

follow this instructions to create and try to repair your windows 10 installation:

    I'm not an Acer employee.

Pressing ALT+F10 gives me this message: "Default boot device missing or boot failed. Insert Recovery Media and hit any key Then select 'boot manager' to choose a new boot device or to boot recovery media".

I will try the next steps and update the thread if this worked, fingers crossed!
