I have a Acer Aspire ZC-606 and it's not boot. When I try, it show Acer logo and don't go far. It show "insert bootable..." . I check in BIOS the order and it is HDD first nad CD second. I haven't chance to make a choice like "rescue or restaure or else. In BIOS I can make the choice to boot on Windows 7 or 8.1 but it's not booting with one or the other. I think it's need an reinstall disk but I don't have this disk and I can't have access to partitions. Do I can have a reinstall disk ? Is it free or I have to buy ? Please help me.

i don't think that you are able to select windows 7 or 8.1 from BIOS, maybe it's a bootloader that gives you that option.

press Del to enter BIOS and check if D2D support is enabled, if not, enabled it and then press F10, save and exit.

at next reboot, press Alt+F10 to enter Acer erecovery, if this doesn't work, you need to buy Acer recovery disks.

    Acer recovery media
if you are in the US you can buy it:

if you are outside the US, you must call/email your regional Acer support service:

    I'm not an Acer employee.
