Acer Aspire V5

I have an Acer Aspire V5, V5-571P-6657, touchscreen, i5 laptop.  I have had this PC since mid to late 2013, bought through AAFES while I was stationed in Montana.  I now reside in South Korea and cannot get his device serviced or maintained.  Since I have owned this PC I have had to replace the HDD, one of the USP 2.0 ports snapped while unplugging a device, the battery died even though I would cycle so it wouldn't burn out, and now the laptop randomly shuts down for no reason.  I had a computer repair shop here look at it and told me one of the power components is faulty and causes the machine to shut down randomly.

I have owned lesser computers that have lasted longer than this laptop, a 2003 Dell Inspiron, 2005 Toshiba Satellite, and a Compaq (unknown year and model).  These machines I was able to upgrade to win 7 or better after a memory upgrade and converted to SSD, with no or minor issues (driver compatibility).

I am sorely disappointed in Acer! This product has been one of the worst investments ever.  Furthermore; their website and contact us is an absolute nightmare.  This is the only way I can potentially get Acer to see my frustration with their product instead of quietly notifying them via email or over the phone.

I hope in the future Acer will build solid laptops like they did in the past.
