Install EFI partition onto new SSD when doing fresh Windows 10 install

I'm having a similar issue to this thread. Windows was originally (and still is) installed on my HDD and I just installed my SSD recently. When I did a clean install of Windows 10 onto my new SSD it didn't install the EFI partition.

Is there a way to create a new EFI partition on the SSD (of course I would have to do another fresh install) or do I have to physically unplug my HDD before I start?

as my personal rule, i always disconnect an HDD with an OS bootable partition, just to reduce troubles and don't mix boot managers (i prefer to select the bootable device from BIOS)

Thanks! Just out of curiousity would disabling the HDD from the BIOS have the same effect?

Has your BIOS these kind of settings?

I don't think so but I haven't explored my BIOS much (at work so can't check my computer right now). I think some computers have this option though right? It was more of a future reference question.

My assumption is that if Windows detects another drive with an EFI partition then it doesn't install one, is this correct?

Acer's laptops don't have this option, at least on all that i checked.

About EFI, yes, windows will only add a new entri on the existing EFI partition.
