There are too many preloaded apps and I am OUT of memory. What options do I have? iconia W510

I have deleted all unnecessary files; but am still out of memory. I don't use 9/10 of the apps that came with the tablet. I know I can't delete them; just inactivate them. How do I get them off the start screen? I don't even want to see the icons.

Long press and hold until the screen shifts to the 'move the icon around' mode and drag to the trash. That removes the icon from the screen though it'll still be listed when you look at all apps.

 

You might try going through each app and clearing the cache. Some will hold on to log files for silly lengths of time. I freed up almost 6GB on my phone that way.
