A1-850 charging port repaired once - but is failing again.

We just had this unit in for repair the beginning of 2016.  We would have to move the charger a certain way to get a charge - and it eventually stopped working altogether.  It was repaired, but now, 6 weeks later, the same thing is happening. Is this common for this repair to fail so quickly?  it was covered under warranty the first time - but I had to pay to send it back. Purchased 6/29/15 so plenty of warranty left.  This is very frustrating.

    Hi Gina,

     

    I had a quick look and I believe I found your previous repair. They were able to repair the MB after the port had been pushed through. I did a bit of research and I'm not seeing any systemic issue with the A1-850, but maybe it's possible between the pressure being applied and the previous repair we didn't do a good enough job of stablizing the port.
