when i add a plug and play device, logitech speakers, it interferes with windows startup. it causes windows start up repair to run, taking a couple hours. it runs fine, but when the device is still connected it runs start up repair everytime when i turn on the computer. it is a acer one netbook, running windows 7 starter. i even returned the speakers, bought new ones, thinking it was the speakers but the new ones do the same thing. when the speakers are not connected start up runs fine after the repair runs. i can turn it on and off many times and no start up repair. the instant i use the speakers, and turn it off. start up repair begins again. ive run the start up repair many times and each time the desktop appears once its run. ive done a system restore. what is wrong with this device? is there something i can run or turn on or off so the speakers work and startup repair doesnt run everytime? please help. thanks so much.

I do not know of what may be causing what you are describing. Have you tried a different brand speaker to see if the system does the same thing? Have you contacte Logitech, to see if they are aware of the issue you are describing?
