I purchased an Aspire X3400G-U4802 about 18 months ago.  Recently it has been operating slower than it had been. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit.  I've tried cleaning the hard drive, defragging, scanning for viruses and updating the gpu drivers. The Windows Experience Rating was 4.2 until I turned off Aero. It has since moved up to 4.3. The limiting component is Graphics. Is this a typical rating for this computer?  What can I do to speed it up?

If it has just recently began running slowly, there is probably software running on your system that is slowing it down. You may try running a tool to remove viruses, spyware, or malware. It may be better to backup all of your information and completely reload Windows to remove all unwanted software. You can do this using instructions at http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/12869.
