Cannot Boot Aspire V5-571P, Cannot Reinstall, pxe-e61 media test failure +

Is there any way to salvage my laptop?  I bought an Acer Aspire V5-571P for my kids last year.  Originally came with windows 8 that we upgraded to 10 after repeated promptings.  The kids loaded it down with who knows what and it ran painfully slow for awhile and finally stopped booting.  I ran across a suggestion to change from UEFI to legacy.  After that, I could not boot at all and cannot get into BIOS.

We have another computer and there was nothing we needed to salvage on the hard drive, so we started searching for other solutions, tried to wipe the disk with DBAN and restore from Acer Recovery Discs, but still will not boot and just loops into the same messages of "pxe-e61 media test failure" and "operating system not found".

I really just want to start over, but loading the Acer system disk still shows a Windows 10 logo when trying to boot and eventually leads to a failure error.

We seem to have compounded all the original problems.  Any ideas on how we can clear it out and start over again?

you need to set BIOS to UEFI to successfull re-install from Acer recovery media.

if you are not ablet to enter BIOS pressing F2, the only way to do it is take out the HDD, boot to BIOS, set UEFI back, save and exit; power off your laptop, put back the HDD and then boot from the Acer recovery media.

the PXE message it appears because the BIOS can't find any OS or bootabled media.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
