rather hard to check with an keyboard that doesn't work from the get go.

but if i remember it correctly it is set on uefi. Or at least the standard for the laptop.

I haven't changed anything to the bios

you can enter BIOS from windows 10 startup options (to exit BIOS just long press power button)

    if it's set to UEFI

    ...at the end:

    1) i would open the laptop and check keyboard and touchpad ribbons/cables connections

    2) if they are ok, i suspect an hardware failure on I2C BUS, so we can't do pretty much to fix it

thanks, in the bios i can use my keyboard to switch between the menu options.

so it might be a software or driver problem.

ok, so keyboard is working or at least keys to navigate on BIOS.

let's reload BIOS defaults, once in BIOS press F9 to load default settings and F10 to save and exit.

Any yellow exclamation mark on device manager with Show hidden devices under View selected (apart touchpad an keyboard)?
