Predator X34 - OC & GSYNC Scanline problem

i recived my x34 recently the other day,

 

im having a problem overclocking to 100hz. whenever i chage my display setting's refresh rate to 100hz the screen flashes black rapidly with a black bar across the top.

 

is there a way to fix this or will i have to use it on a lower overclock?

Are you using the Display Port cable that came in the box with the monitor?

 

If not, can you please try using it and see if it helps.

 

The X34 is not "guaranteed" to reach 100hz and some users have had to underclock slightly to around 90hz to obtain stable use.  However, a lot of 100hz issues are down to users trying different lower quality DP cables which cannot handle the bandwidth required for 3440x1440@100hz.
