Aspire Switch 10 E Brightness settings doesn't work?

Hi everyone! I use this device for a few days. At first I was able to change screen brightness but those settings doesn't work since yesterday. Its too bright that I cant even use it at nights. I tried everything but couldn't solve this.

I was given this laptop and it has no Manuel where can I get one ? And where is the port on the laptop to charge the battery. I can find a hole and I had to order a cord the one she gave me was stolen
