    Hello James,

What's the matter exactly? The black cable and the P4 connector?

    Hello James...

There is a few things that you would need to remove to get to your Ram... It is ok. And not to hard, once you have done them a few times you will have no problems in the future....

First thing you need to do is make sure all the cords are removed from the computer back. Power cords, Vga, keyboard and mouse.... Then you have said you have had the side off so if it back on take out the 2 screws to remove that again... then looking at the front of the  computer there is 3 clips that is holding the Front on. You will need to lift them slighly and move the front forward some... Please note that there is some Wiring that is connected to the front and it can be un plugged or if you have the computer laying flat it maybe able to just set it out of the way... Then you will need to remove the 2 screws that are holding the Drive cage in place. They are at the front of the commputer and is why you need to take off the front Plastic part... Then you can remove the Power wire to the DVD/CD drive and data cable. THen slighly lift the cage out and take the power and data cable off the HDD.. Once that is done set it aside and you can now see your RAM slots.

make your Ram changes and then put it all back. Just make sure when you are putting the Drive cage back in that you don't force it in. May need to look for anything holding it back just don't force it...

    Hope this Helps some

    James
